I read most of the article and figured there were some really good points made. Here is my position. As Preppers we have to take all possible situations into account. EMP, Foreign Invasion, Civil War, Rampart Crime, Sabotage (internal and/or external), Economic Collapse, Civil War, Weather Conditions that cause massive food shortages, Plagues (manmade like COVID or natural like the new Zombie Deer disease that might spread to humans), maybe even an asteroid crash. None of us know, but we must be prepared for any or all of these. Any one of these can cause a cascade effect and we might have to deal with five or six of these possibilities all at once. Hell, even the BS happening at our southern border is a catalyst for huge problems not far down the road. There is no doubt that we are going to need to band together when the trouble comes but we also have to be prepared to be an army of one. I'm one of those people who loves my Country but has zero trust in my government. As to Politics, we are screwed. Our Government has Bankrupted our coutry and are spending $1.30 for every dollar it takes in. It doesn't matter who wins the election. IT CAN'T BE FIXED.
