Well as we have all heard by this time, there is a lot of press about releasing the TOP SECRET 28 pages from the 9/11 report. It is believed that those 28 pages outlines Saudi Arabia involvement in the 9/11 attack on the two Trade Center attacks.
I will not post any news feeds as I am sure that all members of UP know about it. What I am more curious to read is your thoughts. Some thoughts and questions that come to mind are;
1) Let it go and move on.
2) Is this renewed interest in the 28 pages, just a political prompt for politicians to use to their benefit (s)? For example:
- Did President Obama use the 28 pages to leverage Saudi Arabia to take nine Getmo detainees?
3) Should we release the 28 pages and suffer what ever events transpire from Saudi Arabia's blackmail? If we tell Saudi
Arabia to "screw themselves", what will be the economic result on our economy if any?
4) What have I missed?

We can do that and everyone will forget about it in the next 3-4 days.

There is no doubt someone saw something to take advantage of. Could be dems seeing something to swat repubs over or the other way around. Could be one of them seeing something they could crow about because of a "we told you so" idea.[/quote]

Yes release those pages. Saudi king will sell $750 billion of US govt bonds and no one will notice and life will go on. They will reduce production / raise price on oil and get it to the $65/$70 a barrel range and US production from the Bakken formation and others will go back up and hold it there.
4) What have I missed?
Lots of secret stuff we will never know.
