Lest we forget. Romney never met an "Assault Weapons Ban" he didn't like.

Teddy Kennedy, thinking to himself: "Boy this my kind of 'Republican.' Health care mandates, assault weapons bans, what's not to like?"
"Romney signs off on permanent assault weapons ban."

I don't believe they will ever sign a weapons ban. There are to many American jobs that rely on these types of weapons. Its not like in the Clinton area. There are more companies that depend on that system .....
Instead I see them taxing the hell out of ammo. And we have been seeing that more and more. They will figure out a way to take it further.

For kicks and giggles I sent to the gov an e-mail today asking him if he did sign an assult weapons ban and or any other gun ban. I will report back what IF anything is sent. :))

Romney won't sign a national one, because congress will never put one on his desk. Even with a democrat controlled congress, senate, and white house, they wouldn't do it, it's political suicide and they know it, even more so now.
Also, in DC v Heller, the supreme court said any weapon "in common use" is constitutionally protected, the AR15 is the most popular centerfire rifle in the country, kalashnikovs are very popular as well, so yeah, no way it will stand up to any challenge.

That is assuming that the system works how it is supposed to or that it does not change. I would not put anything passed them.

As I wrote earlier I sent an e-mail to Romney asking him position on Assult Weapons. As of today I have not heard back from him. I am shocked! :o
Not really. :))
