The New Top Secret European Union/North America Trade Agreement

The forum members may no be aware that there is going to be a EU/North America trade agreement which I suspect will supersede our and other countries Constitutions. This TTIP (Trans Trade and Investment Partnership) agreement is one of the reasons that many of the UK want out of the EU. This agreement was written/edited in secret and will not be released to the public before it is adopted.

One sober thought: Remember that the EU is the "canary in the coal mine" for what will, not if, is coming here.

I would appreciate a report from gadget if you are up to it PLUS the Brixit vote at the end of June. Mr. Obama has warned GB to not eave the EU - Why?

I will do my best to give an update.

The Tips deal is to be between the US and the EU.

Not sure what good it would do for the US, yet am pretty sure it will benefit the EU significantly.

Now on the EU exit thing. If they vote here in the UK to leave the EU then according to Obama. The UK would loose it's place in the Tips deal.

Now there are some other things that have a good chance of happening.

1. Scotland will table another referendum and will vote to leave the UK. So they can stay part of the EU.

2. The economy will head to full on depression here with the pound taking a massive hit in the currency markets.

The people here have forgotten that the UK does not make anything anymore. All of the manufacturing has mostly closed.

3. There is a good potential that the agricultural capacity of the UK cannot produce enough to feed the population.

4. The UK relies upon imports to keep the power plants running. Almost all of the coal mines are closed.

One very important point here. The UK is a small Island nation in a very big world. Going it alone while being a romantic idea may not be the best thing to do.

I have the beer and popcorn out watching what is going to happen.

NOT sure really.

I am less inclined to point to nefarious stuff though. It is a trade deal. As they get closer to a signing I am sure they will hype it up a bit.

I think that there are larger items on the plate that hold attention at the moment.

I need to do some study on it though.

I have read and heard varying things on it.  Some said yes, some no, some green, some white, some red, some blue.  But it was all on the net and you know if its there it must be true.

The best summary was that the US is joining the EU, it becoming a one world trade system under one UN run system organized and operated pursuant under Agenda 21.

So there ya go.  Its happening.

Unfortunately we are being typical stereotyped Americans by not paying attention of the world past our borders. I do not know the right answer concerning the Brexit vote in the UK and TTIP however, both will affect us.

Had a great conversation the other day with Gadget99 via Skype concerning both subjects and he brought up excellent points then and in an earlier post on this subject.

    the world of banking]

    [Well not in a year or two anyways. Like in other Socialistic paradises like Venezuela, people were encouraged
    to move to the cities where good paying jobs are located and of course "free stuff"]

Anyhow, in an effort to keep folks aware of things here is another side to the story of Brexit.

Hi All,

Did some checking up on the TIPP thing and to be honest, it would benefit the US more than the EU.

While not disastrous. Any negative effects would mess with the UK more than the US. Though I believe that the positive impact would far outweigh the negative impact here in the UK.

I do hope for some Brexit advocacy comments here to insure a balanced representation.

I fully admit I am biased in a way. The majority of my income comes from my Army Retirement and VA Benefit. So anything that pushes the pound to dollar down works for me.

Jerry Springer was on the morning talk shows here in the UK today.

He stated Something that scared the hell out of me.

"the demographics in the US have changed to the pint where it is unlikely that a Republican will be elected president. One third of the population is white, one third is Hispanic and one third is black. Thus the majority will vote democrat."

Would consider it. Yet with free medical here it is hard to justify the move.

Look I am humbling awaiting the SHTF in reality.

If it never happens I and mine are cool. Yet if it happens I am eagerly awaiting my time again.

I am a dinosaur. I am most comfortable with being in a life or death environment. I am also damned. I am the one that will due the duty of taking life so that others do not have to. While I know my son will watch my back. I would rather be the one that takes life so he does not have to.
