I'm no fan of Rick Perry.....But in this one, he appears to be under the influence of marijuana.  Maybe he was offered coffee with a 'Free State Brownie' backstage.

Wake up man, Romney's the only one with a snow balls chance in hell of defeating Obama.

I'm not entirely sold on Dr. Paul.  But if Romney is our only answer now I'm really depressed.  Something about him makes me feel uneasy.  Not as uneasy as Obama does, but non the less.

I concur Sledge, I'll probably die a little inside casting that vote. But if anyone truly believes that Paul could land the nomination let alone win the election they're dreaming.

I concur Sledge, I'll probably die a little inside casting that vote. But if anyone truly believes that Paul could land the nomination let alone win the election they're dreaming.

I'll say it here like I say it in person: There are three choices. 1) You can vote for a liberal, who controls the fast train on the track to the destruction of our nation. 2) You can vote for a semi-liberal (a "conservative"), who controls the slower train on the track to the same destruction. 3) You can vote for a Constitutionalist, who controls the track switch to send the train on a completely different track, potentially avoiding destruction.

The past several decades consist of efforts to vote in the "lesser evil," in other words different versions of "Obama, or the other guy." It has still led to the downward spiral of our nation. There is only one way to right this nation, if history has proven anything, and it is a strong, unyielding adherence to the U.S. Constitution as written by the Founding Fathers, putting individual rights and states' rights, primarily, in control of our nation, not the federal government. Ron Paul is the only candidate who advocates the correct solutions to our problems, but more importantly: he has the voting record and personal history to back it up!!! How many other candidates have that combination? Truly, why would you place your vote, which represents (or is supposed to represent) your true vote for who you believe will best represent your true interests, in someone with fewer qualifications?

There has never been, and never will be, a perfect president. Example: Even George Washington betrayed an aspect of the American Revolution when he supported the elimination of Bacon's Rebellion, an uprising that was truly justified (if you want the history, I can PM it to you...not the place/time here). Just imagine what the voting results would be if no one voted for the lesser evils but actually voted based on their beliefs? What a difference it would make!

If you truly believe that Romney best represents your interests, then please vote for him. If not, don't! Voting for lesser evils will only bring us more of the same. Your parents did it. Your grandparents did it. Your great-grandparents did it. We have much more federal government interference now than in the rest of U.S. history combined! That is where these "lesser" evils have led us. Vote based on principle, or you're only contributing to the problem. I will do so, and years from now, if this nation has crumbled and my children ask me what happened, I can tell them, teary-eyed, that I talked to others in an attempt to reawaken liberty in the hearts of fellow Americans, and that I voted for true liberty. I will do my part, and I will stand my ground. The measures you propose are, I truly believe, guaranteed to fail based upon American history.

It's time to change our strategy. Everyone here preaches about standing against tyranny and expansive federal government and its intrusion into our liberties, our lives and our families' lives. Well, this is the first step: break away from the system, from the strategies that do not work! Is it a risk? Yes! However, if you don't make the stand now, the slow decline will claim your children and/or your grandchildren. What will you be saying to those younger generations when they look at you and ask, "What was it like to not live under a curfew?" "What was it like without ration cards?" "What was it like to communicate freely with others?" "What was it like to feel a weapon, the very extension of liberty, in your hands?" "What was it like....?"

Apparently, we all have a right "to be kept alive," something very different than having a right to life. Or perhaps he just meant himself...is there a reason that politicians should be afraid of American citizens? Hmm.... Perhaps if he aligned himself completely with the U.S. Constitution, he would feel a little safer?
