Commonly used and unregulated internet discussions and videos about guns and ammo could be closed down under rules proposed by the State Department, amounting to a "gag order on firearm-related speech," the National Rifle Association is warning.

I have been watching this closely.

At the moment different groups are claiming they will fight it using the 1st Amendment to the BOR's...

Quote
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

IMO, if I were you (Royal you not directed to one person) I would go to your local library and download YT video's and schematics to a thumb drive now. Once downloaded, erase the history on the computer. I am sure your inquiry will still live somewhere BUT no nosy librarian or the next user of the computer will see it.

Somethings to down load are:
> Lightening Link
> Drop in auto sear
> M-16 Schematics, e.g. how to turn a semi into a auto
> Etcetera.

What have I missed?

Editorial Note: The question one must ask themselves is why the DOJ is going down this road. The excuse is that we are giving our foreign enemies valuable information. IMO, this is bullshit. This is directed towards domestic consumption.

With that written, many questions come to mind like:How many gang bangers have the equipment to make a drop in auto sear or lightening link? The machinist skills to drill out a lower receiver of a AR to make them auto?

If this direction holds up in court, what will be next - How to grow your own food? How to make  water proof cache? How to reload your own ammo? How to make/sharpen a knife? Use/fix a transceiver?

Warning :tinfoil: alert

Something is brewing folks behind the scenes.

 :tinfoil: alert over.

Stay tuned.

I like Nutnfancy idea that this is all about destroying the 2nd amendment community, who knows, maybe the 3D printable guns are driving them nuts...

Anyway, once info is in internet it never disappears, if it goes illegal it will still be available in underground channels, this would only hurt the gun industry and the community.

I have some information on how to make some really neat 'fire works' if anybody wants details.
