finally I get to see Ron Paul speak in person

tomorrow evening at Southeastern University. fuck yea.

(also attending a Mitt Romney event at a local shopping mall (how appropriate for Romney) tomorrow morning... will have mucho Ron Paul propaganda on display)

I recorded Romney's entire presentation, and I'll do the same with Paul's. (the picture quality is TERRIBLE and I was really shaky but the audio is ok)

the Romney video is currently uploading to youtube although my computer is a little strange and won't convert the file to a format compatible with youtube but I'm uploading anyway (it's worked one or two times in the past.. not sure why)... either way, as soon as I manage to get this stupid shit onto the interwebz I'll post it up, as well as my Ron Paul video either late tonight or tomorrow.

so anyway, Romney didn't attract too many people so it wasn't difficult to get really close, maybe 25-30 feet from him. he was shaking hands after the speech, and I considered fighting through the hoard of neo-cons to shake his hand, but then I asked myself why the fuck I was even going to bother going through the effort for such a douchbag, so I just left, lol.

updates will come shortly after the Ron Paul speech. I'm fuckin stoked!

I'm having a great deal of trouble getting the videos of the full speeches to upload to youtube. don't know when they'll be up. but for now, here's a crowd comparison.
(Paul's crowd actually got even bigger and more dense after he started speaking, both videos were about 5 minutes before the candidate was introduced.)

just remembered something.. hopefully i can get these vids up soon so you can hear it for yourselves, but at one point Romney's rattling off a list of all the crazy taxes we have to pay and a woman in the crowd shouted something about the death tax and Romney's like "oh yea, can't forget about the death tax, that may be coming soon for all of us" .... i'm pretty sure he meant that he would do away with the death tax but it just came out very wrong.... lol

JM, you're aware that one of Romney's top campaign managers actually referenced an etchaskecth in describing Romney.. right? that's where the whole thing comes from. dude basically said that Romney will clean his slate like an etchasketch after being nominated and completely change his tune in the general election... lol! what a tool.

I got to give it to that Santorum supporter... I can't stand his candidate but I gotta give the guy credit for growing a pair and openly standing inside a Romney event like that. plus his shenanigans were pretty amusing.  :))
