NYC - Two Police Executed
« on: December 22, 2014, 09:17:09 AM »
With the two police officers execution in NYC Saturday and the other police related drama's we have discussed this year; I felt it was appropriate to start a new subject line on this.

In short, I was not shocked to see what just happened in NYC nor in Florida based on the rhetoric I have been hearing from the race baiters out there. Unfortunately, I suspect we are seeing the beginning of a a new trend that will just escalate in the upcoming new year.

Personally I am deeply saddened by what has happened this past weekend.

While I in NO WAY condone the murders of these cops, I am not surprised.  When you betray the people you're sworn to protect people will start fighting back.

Is it betrayal when a Grand Jury cannot find probable cause in a case to issue an indictment?  That is best defined as that set of facts and circumstances which could lead a reasonable person to believe . . .

In NY a grand jury consists of IIRC 23 people and if 12 agree to issue the indictment it is granted.  There is alot more info there that Fox has not received and MSNBC (if they have) chooses not to broadcast.

SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT BELOW

Related causation or totally not so???.  I have no idea whatsoever, but the timing?

Slain Tarpon Springs officer was father of 5; suspect ID'd as transient
 TARPON SPRINGS --

A Tarpon Springs police officer was shot and killed overnight, and a man identified as a transient has been charged with first-degree murder, authorities said.

Veteran officer Charles "Charlie K" Kondek was fatally shot sometime after 2 a.m. near 199 Grand Blvd., a few blocks from the city's Sponge Docks. He was a father of five and former New York City policeman.

The Tarpon Springs Police Department released the officer's name on its Facebook page around 11:15 a.m., saying "our hearts and prayers go out to the Kondek Family and our deepest sympathy."

Investigators are also working a nearby second scene on Athens Street, where the shooter - identified as 23-year-old Marco Antonio Parilla Jr. - fled in a white Hyundai sedan. Parilla crashed into a power pole and snapped it and then crashed into a pickup truck, Pinellas County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Cecila Barreda said.

Parilla was arrested and taken to the Pinellas County Jail.

Officials said Kondek had arrived at the scene in response to a call, but gave no other details. Kondek was wounded and transported to Florida Hospital North Pinellas, where he later died.

A neighbor told Bay News 9 she heard about three shots coming from the scene. A second neighbor said he saw a man running through the area and knocking on doors.

Kondek, 45, was a 17-year veteran of the department who worked many years on the midnight shift, officials said. Originally from New York, he spent five years as an officer with the New York City Police Department before moving to Florida. His wife works for the Pasco County Clerk's office

He is the fourth office killed in the line of duty in Tarpon Springs history. The last was Lanny Langford, who died in a crash on Nov. 18, 1969.

Before that, Everett Blewfield was killed by gunfire in 1926 and Marshal Rueben Jones was killed by gunfire in 1921.

No other information has been released. Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri and Tarpon Springs Police Chief Robert Kochen are expected to provide more details at a news conference this afternoon. Bay News 9 will carry the news conference live.

We live in interesting times magnified by the swiftness news travels now.

I have been searching a few other forums and blogs and the rhetoric is increasing on both sides of the issue. Flamed by people that want to topple the apple cart.

Do I believe that there are bad police out there - Yup. Just like there are bad garbage men, doctors, politicians, etc.

What I think the main contributing factor is the leadership of these police departments. I have lead 1,500+ employee divisions in the private sector. If I set an example of what good customer service looks like - Guess what? Yup my employees meet and often exceed my expectations for customer service. These leaders (chiefs) are burying faults and hiding facts to protect wrong doers - STOP! You work for the citizenry NOT your employees.

There are people, black, white, brown, poke-a dotted who are using these drama's to tear down the system or re-set it. At times I am frustrated too and wish for a re-set. But with that said, do you really want a civil war?

I challenge forum members to take a minute to surf past civil wars in other countries that have taken place over the past 200 years and see what has happened. Typically for a generation or so, post a civil war, that country experiences harsh economic and human strife.

Beware....

And unless that gets worldwide quick, be ready to ready to have overseas guests with a more hostile intent than the majority of the ones coming in now.   I anticipate there would be crapton of gentlemen claiming the equivalent of todays "blue helmet" status here "to help us".

Might be good to get that extra bit of BBBs and with the price of silver so low, an ounce or 2 of that also.

Yupper.

If the SHTF the first thing I am going to do is run into town with 4, 55 gallons drums and buy gas. Then come home, off load it and then go back with 4 more drums and buy diesel and Kerosene.

Just saying...
