This is really terrific. You can never have too many armed government agents on the street protecting (or intimidating) the local citizenry.
In this day when every little one stop light city has a swat team charged with serving jury summons, and every department of the Federal Government having it's own sets of armed team operators trained in military assault tactics, we still have reason to feel nervous about our safety. (Imagine that!)
Thank God we now have the military to chip in and help with Public Safety. And after today's Senate vote there won't be that pesky problem of repeat offenders. Cause the military can hold them indefinitely without a trial. Finally we can say we're "tough on crime"!
Edit: Not to steal the topic, but has anyone considered how this new law, with the help of the military, is going to help us be competitive with China in making stuff again? Just think about it. All of these new detention inductees can be working in forced labor factories for the rest of their lives working for a bowl of gruel a day. Who says our government doesn't know what their doing. Take that China, in your eye!
