Yup. You are right!

If I was one of those guards I would insist on an arrest for kidnapping.  >:D

What is not being reported the other group of longshoreman that were hired were union too- Just a different union.

I suspect this is the type of thing we have to look forward to in many areas of the country from union and non union people alike.  Most people who have a job are worried about keeping it, and some like me, are about disgusted with the lack of available jobs out there.

It has the looks of getting uglier and uglier.  At any rate, I won't be involved in any riots.  Unless the rioters look like they will be coming to my house.

Im a non union security contractor.  I work at a union facility.  I have dealt with a strike before but Ill say this to these new occurrences.  I am armed and if I feel my life is threatened...  Id rather shoot now and draw unemployment later than get hospitalized and lose my job cause I cant work.  Like my instructor taught me, Shoot to Live.

I have NEVER been without a paying job for ten months in a row in my life.

Lately I haven't even gotten past a phone interview. I keep hearing, "Oh what an impressive career- You are over qualified. Good luck." Well fuck you too HR person!

IMO it's going to become dog eat dog out there and the thing in WA. is just the beginning.

My rant is done.

Yep, you're right.  It's going to spread too.  I think that's one of the reasons Obama signed the Executive Order extending the National Emergency for another year yesterday.
