Kudos when due

First, let me say I'm not trying nor am I interested in starting any type of flame war, nor sway anyone's personal opinion, nor look for anyone's explanation as to why they feel the way they feel. Everyone's entitled to their opinion.

I've been on here long enough to know most don't like LEO's and that's fine. Are there bad LEO's, hell yeah, but I suspect no more than bad lawyers, doctors, teachers, politicians, military members or insert your favorite profession here. I find it sad how one group can be demonized by the actions of a few rogues. But that's the time we live in, see anti-gunners hating on gun owners. Even though I was considered "the enemy" for 30 years, I usually don't respond to anyone's criticisms. I wasn't there. Anyway, bad stuff makes better news than good stuff and many times the conclusions people jump too, end up changing as the "facts" are uncovered and "emotions" subside... but I digress.

So if all the criticisms are aired , then when good is done.... It should get it's fair share. That's my opinion, see above.

This was earlier in the month.

Glad to see integrity still in place. All are not necessarily "bad".

I hear read ya' brat.

I read this story a couple of weeks ago and thought, this is a man who I would like to be my Chief of police! Yet I didn't post it and I should have.

I am a great example of the average joe who will never hesitate to point my finger at wrong-doing but yet will not give a thumbs up when the person/group/country of my scrutiny does something right.

Thank you for posting!

When discussing law enforcement it's all shades of gray to me, good and bad. But I'd never ask anyone to applaud the lesser of two wrongs.

I'd be willing to bet that there were Gestapo who helped little old ladies cross the street, helped cats out of trees, went to church every week, held the door open for the next person, and were courteous drivers.

If you need a second magazine, its time to call in air support.

God created Man, Col. Sam Colt made him equal, John Moses Browning turned equality to perfection, Gaston Glock turned perfection into plastic fantastic junk.
