LaVoy Finacum Shooting - Video'd From Inside Of the Truck

There has been much written about the LaVoy Finacum shooting back in January. Most of what has been written is based on speculation and minimal facts. The local prosecutor claimed it was a justifiable shoot because Finacum drew a firearm. 

Anyhow the noise over the shooting settled down until this video was released. Unbeknownst to the FBI, one of the occupants of the truck, Shawna Cox filmed the whole drama. Since it has been released the FBI is reopening the shooting incident.

Crazy. Here is a video that syncs up both of the footage so you can see and hear what happens on the outside of the vehicle. It still doesn't prove if the fatal shots were justified but it does show that the first 1-2 shots were fired at Lavoy with his arms raised up. That's got to be attempted murder at least?

I'd say that the fatal shots weren't justified, since any move Finicum may or may not have made towards drawing a weapon was AFTER he was already fired upon by LEOs. I don't think he drew a firearm, or was going for one, since he stated several times in the truck somethingg along the lines of "I'm going to the next county to meet with the sheriff. If you want to stop me, you'll have to kill me." Doesn't sound like someone who is planning on going down in a blaze of glory Butch and Sundance style.
