McConnell - Marjorie Taylor Greene's "loony lies" are "cancer" for GOP

Sen. McConnell has just commented on a member of the House, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA). Interesting.

McConnell, who fought former President Trump at every turn, is now commenting publicly about a fellow Republican in a different branch of the US Legislature. This happened as the House Rules Committee is meeting tomorrow to debate removing Greene from her committee assignments in the U.S. House.

it has been reported that Rep. Stenny Hoyer told Axios' Kadia Goba, "It is my hope and expectation that Republicans will do the right thing and hold Rep. Greene accountable, and we will not need to consider this resolution. But we are prepared to do so if necessary."

Greene is the freshman Representative from Georgia who has made some controversial comments and wears a face mask that reads at time, CENSORED and TRUMP WON.

Of course, the comments that have come out of Rep. Maxine Waters and others mouths are okay.

I wonder when they are coming for you. If they can harass a U.S. Representative, when are they going to start harassing you folks here at UnchainedPreppers?

Well, let's see, Mitch's in-laws are well connected Chinese.  Mitch is more concerned about how he can personally profit from his political dealings, rather than doing what's best for the U.S.  Our government is filled with traitors who wish ill upon our great nation.  It's like having thousands of Manchurian Candidates embedded throughout the bureaucratic system.  There's rot throughout!

 Free speech is dead! :vomit:
In principle, no less than in practice, socialism is the ideology of thieves and tyrants.

Free speech has some confusion fluttering around about it.
Some say it is even "dead".
nawwww...
Speaking "truth to power" can _get you dead_.   But free speech itself?  Free as a bird (with consequences).

The nut of the matter... what are the consequences of curtailing your own "free speech"?   What are the end-of-cycle, final costs of self censorship?

Speaking of birds, this puts in mind of what I'm calling the parable of the chicken.
On my way home every day I pass by a chicken processing plant, with a constant flow in and out of semis wheeling full cages in and empty ones out. I saw one today that had a singular chicken left in a cage. It was at the bottom, having been crushed to death by all the other chickens because it was too weak to stand up.
The others stood up. And got grabbed, plucked and had their necks rung. And now they're on the way to your grocery store. But maybe they got in a good squawk or two first.
But there was this one chicken that must have managed to duck at the right time and escape. It was  half plucked but heading into the hills behind the chicken plant at high speed. I have to admit I was cheering the thing on. Who knows, there may be a whole cabal of the things out there.
I think we can all learn things from that chicken.
