It's the timing that worries me
« on: October 28, 2017, 10:19:46 AM »
An FBI agent gets a gag order lifted so he can talk to congress and all of a sudden Mueller files charges. It appears he has dirt on his hands in the uranium one scandal, is this "Look over here don't pay attention to the man behind the curtain" move.

Just wondering :coffeeNews:
In principle, no less than in practice, socialism is the ideology of thieves and tyrants.

Here is the issue...It appears that there are quite a few folks that live in or around the swamp that have or had their hands in the cookie jar.

Now here is the question...Does AG Sessions have the balls and then the ability to expose and then prosecute the swamp being's?

Sadly, I think no on both counts.  :(

Trump doesn't need his hand in the cookie jar, he is a self made billionaire. He earned his money, he didn't get it from political scams like the clintons or the rest of the swamp, thats why the swamp creatures hate him so much.

@Grizz - Trump has lost more money than he's made - ok, i'de like to be that rich and i'm not.
BUT still corrupt - selling golden visa's - fired most of his cabinet so far for corruption, under investigation for corruption - seems to be in bed with the Russians.  Dead bodies seem to follow Ivanka and Kushner - just like the Clintons.

call me a prude but still seems corrupt for my 2cents.

I dont know where you got your information but its not accurate, can you back it up with some links to credible sites?

As far as firing people, well heck yeah, why not if they're not doing what their supposed to do??

Under investigation does NOT mean guilty. In bed with the russians, not even close. The "establishment" will say and do anything to get rid of him...

Dead bodies following Ivanka and Kushner??

one example each - corroborated by multiple sources. (for what that is worth)
as far as reputable - in this day and age i don't have a large amount of trust for corporate or government controlled media.  Alot of the smaller operations seem to be monetizing fear mongering or just an echo-chamber.  maybe i'm getting jaded - but this last election cycle is disturbing to me.

Trump bankruptcy - (funny, i remember his dad getting into hot water for trying to keep a casino afloat by laundering money at the former playboy casino in ATL City)
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2016/live-updates/general-election/real-time-fact-checking-and-analysis-of-the-first-presidential-debate/fact-check-has-trump-declared-bankruptcy-four-or-six-times/?utm_term=.a9a1e95eb7e9
Trump losing money -
http://time.com/money/4910726/carl-icahn-billionaires-net-worth-loss/
golden visas -
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/08/opinion/the-kushners-and-their-golden-visas.html
ok, on the dead bodies one - the Kushners are minor league compared to the Clintons.  I found two articles - both later corrected and one about a couple of chinese workers in ivanka's clothes factory winding up dead after whistle blowing (not on point or likely not the responsibility of the Kushners.  the other article was backstopped by an article on Alex Jones' site about the NWO, i'll discount that one too - its a political rant.

I have a serious problem with Trump or Clintons veracity.  just different sides of the same coin.

My main point is that i think most politicians are corrupt - even Trump.  I'm sure there are unicorns out there but i haven't seen any of late.  I think Trump is a change in tennor and tone - but a snake is still a snake even if their skin is a different color -  say bleached blond and pumpkin orange.

Through-out mt career, I have lived through six CEO's. Two were GREAT and acted exactly like Mr. Trump. One was crazy and ended up getting canned. Two had Trump drive and business mind but were not obnoxious like Trump can be at times. One was a short stint by the owner of the company.

The two that were similar to Trumps style, each helped the company to double in size during their tenure. They expected a lot from the senior team and would cann ya' in a NY minute if you "over promised and under delivered." Once I made a ~$10K mistake and tendered my resignation. The CEO literately crumbled it up and threw it back at me. He said, "What the F$%&K! I just invested $10K in you and you think I don't want my investment back? Now get the hell out of my office and get to work!"

In each case, the new CEO would fire 50% of the senior team within the first six months on the job. Then there would be another purge at the beginning of their second year. So it doesn't surprise me that people are being asked to leave and new folks coming in.

For most people who have not worked at a senior level at a good size corporation, Trump's style is hard to understand and in many cases accept.

Ive seen the same thing in my life experiences

And anyone with as many properties and investments as Trump has knows you can only support a loosing venture for so long before you need to accept the loss and move on to more profitable ventures, as he did with his NJ casinos. Everyone on the left was saying Trump was mean or a looser for the "loss" in NJ but they have zero understanding about how businesses run or how you run multiple business at the same time...

I should add to what i wrote earlier, "For most people who have not worked at a senior level at a good size corporation, Trump's style is hard to understand and in many cases accept."

This business approach may be wrong in Government; However, lets give it a try and if it is wrong then vote the SOB OUT in 2020.

As a side-note: If the faithful forum members remember, I did not vote for Mr. Trump. I wrote MrsMac in on the ballet.
