I've come across several versions of how the original research was done in the US before the Government moved it out the country. The most outlandish is that it was being developed as a bioweapon to start the Agenda 21 movement to reduce the world population. It makes no difference what the actual truth is because things are going to get really bad, really quickly. Preppers are going to have the jump on the average idiot that believes its going to be business as usual. We know damn well that its not going to be the same old, same old. I don't have any more room for food supplies but I've a bit of a cash stash that I'm going to use just before the SHTF and I don't care if I have to pile all the new food up in the middle of the living room if I have to. I don't think its my job to feed the neighbors but in the end, it comes down to a situation where I will need to call on some of them for help when the shooting starts. If I can help feed some of them, then I can count on some support in a fire fight. Yes, I already know which ones have weapons. If they need some food help, they will be the first to get a bit of my food. No, they will not be getting the good stuff that I like to eat.
