It looks like ISIS or ISL is only six miles (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2773268/ISIS-militants-fighting-Iraqi-government-forces-just-six-miles-Baghdad-despite-Western-airstrikes-against-terror-group.html) from entering Baghdad.
When Baghdad falls and it will; What do you think President Obama will do? Federal Congress? What will the media say/do?
Then we have ISIS chasing The Kurds (http://www.cnn.com/2014/09/21/world/meast/turkey-syria-refugees-isis/index.html) into Turkey. Will they follow?
I suggest that you folks take a half and hour or so and read up on the disillusionment of the Ottoman Empire after WWI by the League of Nations. Start with the Sykes–Picot Agreement (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sykes%E2%80%93Picot_Agreement). Stay educated.

With the lies and denial in W DC, Iraq is lost. Sad to say but the Iraqi army has taken huge losses in the past few days, and their soldiers are running away, to be killed later. Airstrikes are no longer useful.
And now the threats made against families of soldiers here in the US. American's use of social media has opened several weaknesses that few people have thought of. These jihadis are far smarter than people give them credit for.

The death and maiming of our troops in Iraq was all a waste. A sad waste.
I blame President Obama for the deaths to come from his political decision.

Not saying they don't need to be vigilant for any threat, but that bunch over there likes psyops. They post a lot of stuff. They are taking a pounding and it seems now they are lashing out with everything they can to get some breathing room or create a pause.
One more reason why I don't do any type of "social media" stuff. Maybe I'm just an old timer, but social to me is a handshake, cup of coffee or a beer, good meal with friends, trip to the range and a phone call. High tech social for me is a forum...

I started writing this elaborate response because I consider myself caught up on midleastern politics, then I realized that all parties fucking suck and that stating any position on ISIS would help out any number of political interests.
So screw all those politicians, and try not to let the media hype get to you because all they want is your consent to blow some shit up.

Burt, I understand where you are coming from.
We have had discussions in the past both verbal and in writing. I am hesitant to support or not support further hostilities in Iraq.
Bottom-line, I do not trust my government to guide me. Sad state of affairs.

This became a pretty popular video online and is very relevant here.

I would like to ad the Reddit comments section on the video.
The "liberal" comments will blow your mind. :suicide:
