Pelosi's '60 Minutes' whistleblower comments prompt GOP concerns of 'political setup'

House Republican Conference Chairman Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., on Monday pushed for answers on how much top Democrats knew about the explosive White House whistleblower's complaint before it was officially made, after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's head-turning comments during a televised interview on Sunday.

"He told me it was perfect, that there was nothing on the call," Pelosi said on CBS News' "60 Minutes," referring to a conversation she had with President Trump before the Trump administration released either a transcript of his call with Ukraine's leader or the whistleblower's complaint.

"But, I know what was in the call," Pelosi continued, before quickly adding, "I mean, uh, it was in the public domain."

Pelosi's remark drew scrutiny from Republicans because no verbatim account of Trump's call had yet been made publicly available.

"@SpeakerPelosi⁩ said on 60 Minutes last night she knew the details of the classified Ukraine call before White House released transcript," Cheney wrote on Twitter. "This is starting to seem like a political set up. So, Madame Speaker, 'what did you know and when did you know it?'”

Yeah, That's what I was thinking. We couldn't stand Obama but nobody did anything except complain about his destruction of our country. These Rabid dog Liberals would try to take Trump down if he farted in public. The Dems are too stupid to care about criticism and the Repubs spend all there time trying to avoid it. and i think the polarization is scaring the )(*& out of centrists like me - yes i know everyone thinks they are a centrist.  the far left and far right have become polarized there is very little common ground any more.  perhaps creating a dozen parties with more closely held beliefs might work - o wait, that led to the state the British find themselves in now.  the whole thing is a bit distressing, to me at least.

I'm just grabbing onto the constitution and holding onto it for dear life.

according to your theory, my wife isn't an American citizen - She was born to 2 US soldiers who were stationed overseas - she had a DD form.  Her citizenship is because at least one of her parents was a US citizen at the time of birth. 
Besides, HI does have birth certificates and former President Obama has one.  the birth announcement was carried in the Honolulu Star.  His college transcripts from Harvard and Columbia are published - and what does that have to do with citizenship?

i can't provide 'negative' proof - I can only say that if this is a conspiracy it is a conspiracy of thousands.
I suggest applying a thought razor to that and the relevant proof.  is the documentation the same as others from that time - RE the birth certificate, yes - are you then claiming that people born in Hawaii aren't US citizens, or just one person?

My point wasn't to prove whether or not he went to college it was to ask who paid for it and if we can get the papers he wrote we will see what he really things about this Country.

Did you forget about his meetings and fund raisers with the known terrorist from the 60's (I don't remember his name at the moment), the preacher his listened to every Sunday who preached anti-white and anti-American crap every weekend?? Either Obama was a US citizen and committed fraud by going to college as a Foreign Exchange Student or he wasn't a US citizen and committed fraud by running for President. Both things happened. Both are true. Pick one and it won't matter which one. Either way he is a criminal. Ignoring or denying it won't make it any less true. When we are all long dead, someone will sort out all the facts and there will be a true accounting of Obama in a book, yet to be written, will probably be titled "Americas False President." At this point I don't give a crap because I'm prepping to survive the collapse what will come in the next year or two.

This argument is fruitless.

I did not vote for Mr. Trump in 2016 which I have explained here before. Over the 2 1/2-years he has been president, I have grown to like the guy. In part because of his willingness to fight back when attacked by both the GOP and Dem's. I also like many of the things he has accomplished; economy, constitutional judges being appointed, working on eliminating or at least renegotiating NAFTA, giving the middle finger to the EU and China, rolling back restrictions in the EPA, helping the country to become energy independent, the list goes on and on.

I think Trump is a major threat to the elites around the world. The elites that would like to muzzle the United States and their pawns are the media and the wack-a-doodles in DC.

The blasting caps and fuses are all set in the dynamite and is being placed strategically as we all sit here and point fingers at each other. What will be the match that lights the fuse? An impeachment which will accomplish nothing but divide the country more? Or maybe indictments that come down from the DOJ concerning the silent coup. I do not know and do not care because the fuses will be lite.

Once the dynamite explodes what will happen? That is what we should be focusing on. How do we do that, look to history.
