That's what happens when your tactics suck.. you get cut in the spleen.
No but really the police in this country have lost their fucking minds. They need to quit acting like they are at war with the people... unless they want to end up at war with the people. 300 million Americans of which half own guns (and I do mean plural). If the Police think they can win that fight and keep provoking it then I say good for them. Lets get this shit show started.
And before any of you LEO guys even start talking shit to me it isn't my culture, family, friends or coworkers beating the shit out of peaceful protesters. You're peers are making your bed for you, if you don't like it take it up with them. It's like my Father says, "you ride with horse thieves, you hang with horse thieves."

Does anyone else find it kinda comforting that they've been trained to stand, shoulder to shoulder, in a nice line... for us? :-X

It's pretty sad what is happening in this country. It's only going to get worse as the economy declines and the Government bears down on it's citizens in an attempt to gain control.
That one cop screaming and yelling while swinging the baton was out of control. If the vet had realized he was going to be beaten anyway, whether he fought back or not, he probably would have laid the cop out. That cop definitely needed some sedative.

When that day comes this country will never be the same. Law enforcement will never be the same. I suspect the military will be ordered to do something it should never again have to do on this soil and as a result also never be the same.
I don't doubt it will happen, I'm not happy it will get to that point and I wonder what will be left afterwards.
