At least 4 County Sheriffs in Illinois have stated that they will not enforce the new Illinois gun law. I sent an email to one of the Sheriffs reminding him that he was perfectly within his rights to not enforce the new law because the 1802 United States Supreme Court case of Marbury vs Madison ruling was "Any law that violates the tennants of the Constitution is invalid and shall not be enforced". I asked him to notify every Sheriff and Police Chief in Illinois so they can legally do what he did.
