Thx Crudos!

It should hit between Wash DC and NYC. However, we could still get a lot of rain and a hefty surge between CT and Cape Cod. There will be a full moon on the 29th so the tide will be a little higher than normal (+4 feet) but not as bad as a new moon tide (+5 feet).

Regardless I am still going to do my late fall chores today. Tomorrow my wife and I will drive up to my Mom's on Cape Cod to make sure her generator is in working order.

I will top off the trucks gas tank, fill the gas cans, get a case or two of bottled water, yada...yada...yada.

Stay tuned.  :))

Yeah EJR, it could happen to a better place.

With that said, I do have a bunch of friends from Annapolis MD up the coast to include NYC. I pray that they will be OK. I am sure they will be as this will be just tropical force winds with a foot or so of rain.

50 million people could lose power. That would make Katrina look like a field trip.
