Romney and Ryan, big trouble for the GOP
« on: August 13, 2012, 04:00:58 PM »
What an unmitigated disaster the GOP has on it's hands with Romney and his VP pick, Ryan. I was sure that my moving away from the GOP machine towards Gary Johnson was the right move. I am now doubly sure that was the right thing to do now. For those still on the fence, or think that voting comes down to the lessor of two evils, how about throwing in with Johnson and telling the sickness-infested GOP to pound sand once and for all. There is a new America right around the corner, and it's starts with some good men and women like you to bring glory and honor back to this nation.

Thanks Crudos, I know how passionate you are for the Johnson ticket. I respect your pick and that you are voting for him in the up and coming election. I hate it when people just don't vote.

I will be voting for Romney & Ryan. I was on the fence; depending on what day it was or how the planets were aligning, I see saw back and forth between a write in, Johnson or Romney.

Although I am not thrilled with Mitt, I do and always have liked Paul Ryan. He is definitely right of Mitt and an "A" player when it comes to our Federal budget. He is a sharp cookie who isn't afraid to mixing it up with Barry and Joe.

The party itself isn't corrupt. It is the people in them. Independents and third partys only seem 'moral' and uncorupt because they aren't well defined. And only semi-intelligent people like to call themselves Libertarians to seperate themselves from the supposed 'corruption' of the mainstream parties.

As soon as a third party takes over one of the established partys and is placed into mainstream, the same old human nature will still be there and bring the same old  corruption with it. And then the 'third partiers' will change names and start the whole cycle over agian.

Like I said, it isn't a 'GOP problem' it is a human problem.

And Libertarians kind of have the same mentality that hipsters have.

Sounds like someone is drinking the party line cool aid and ironically it's the same propaganda both republicans and democrats like to push about the idea of libertarian concepts in order to marginalize them, with help from their media /corporate paymasters. The same mentality as hipsters? How about no regulations on any kind of firearms? How about no fed regulation on licensed professions. How about no more fed oversight or rules on my running the business of my choice, even from my home if local gov allows it. How about getting the feds all the way in d.c. to leave me the hell alone to make my own decisions like an adult and live with them. How about getting your hands out of my pocket and using money stolen from me by threat of violence to fund whatever hair brained closed bid or corporate welfare job in another state or even country. How about minding your own business and use the surveillance on actual foreign threats or real criminals like those in the financial industries, the fed reserve and their bought and paid for politicians of both dem & rep parties stripping the wealth of the citizens of this country with inflation while the corporate whores in the media run puff pieces and push entertainment for advertising revenue while being very careful to keep the public in the dark using the people of this countries very limited and fed controlled airwave licenses.

Here's some thoughts on romney ryan http://market-ticker.org/post=210028
Of course the alternative is worse but that's still like choosing stalin or hitler

OK. What is front and center in not gun rights, minority rights, or unequal representation it is our country going down the economic sewer.  If this happens the Bill of Rights will be sucked down too.

Once the economy is stabilized and the hemorrhaging curtailed we can start to roll back the tentacles of government. Call me naive however I have a few years on most of you guys. I believe in the American people making the right choice.

The economy is the problem and it's unrecoverable. A flat spin at 100 feet, the RPG flash your eyes see across the street,  the lock being latched at the 7-eleven as your walking up at 2 am in a bad neighborhood while a car pulls up behind you, the pop and tiny little smoke trail arcing towards you, the sickening crack of a scaffold board and the sudden undesirable weight loss...

But respectfully JM, the tentacles of government increased under the Bush family and Reagan. I've never seen in my lifetime a conservative President make the government smaller once they took office. I don't see R&R doing much of anything to curtail that either.
