Yes, at least the UK, Germany and Sweden are on this theme. Key phrases are the 'end of Cold War' 2.0 and we have entered into "pre-war". The last bit from the UK MOD head. Sobering stuff.
Keep gas tanks full, split and stack firewood and now is the time to acquire what might not be available if the sea/air lanes are shut down - at the very least. Amazon and delivery methods might grind to a halt. Postal Service (such as it is...) will probably continue to trundle along, so KEEP A PAPER RECORD of friends and family so that, should digital communications services fail, you can write an old fashioned letter. It would be prudent to assume multi-layered cyber attacks and the almost total certainty of terror cells within our country to go active, though it seems that some have already done so - perhaps amateur socialists or someone showing 'what WE can do to you...".
Now, back to my morning coffee and tobacco,

Ps. The good news about most 'off grid' preps, you will eventually eat, drink or smoke them, so it's not a waste. If you eat that tinned bully beef 5 years from now, you're eating at lower prices, despite the years of currency inflation... food for thought.
