Anyway... When a security flaw is discovered without no one knowing, its called "0 Day", there are tons of 0 Days that are sold specially to criminals doing card fraud or shit like that, or to government security agencies.
For instance, Stuxnet, a computer worm created to damage Iran's nuclear centrifuges used 3 0 Day bugs in its code.
So, what's my point... My point is that DHS is calling you to turn off Java, but that flaw was since who knows how long in your computer so you got plenty of opportunities to get exploited before the warning, I wouldn't give a fuck about this issue, and just try to keep all my software updated.
