New York Valuesm- Trump vs. Cruz
« on: January 16, 2016, 11:14:03 AM »
With all of the hoopla that we have been exposed to by (Mostly) the ranks of the NY Press, concerning Cruz's comments on "NY Values"; I present to this illustrious group an article I ran across of NY Governor telling Republican Conservatives to stay out of NY. Enjoy.

I was born and raised in the Peoples Republic of NYC where it is against the law to defend yourself. New Yorkers don't talk to anyone it is the tourist and new comers that do.
My father was a shoemaker and one day he was held up at gun point. When the dirtbag reached across the counter to get to the register my father cut him across the back of his neck with his shoemaker lip knife. The police were going to lock my father up for using excessive force but the local merchants prevented them.
While he had the store he had to pay off the fire marshal, the garbage men the local cops and any city inspector that came along.
A New York city conservative in any other part of the country would be called at minimum a left leaning moderate.

Cruz is right.
In principle, no less than in practice, socialism is the ideology of thieves and tyrants.

I'll be honoring the gov's request. It's one thing being a native there, but I can't wrap my head around people wanting to move to live there. I get claustrophobic just watching the news feeds of people in those subways, train stations and filled streets. I'll just stay put right here where a traffic jam is two tractors and a pickup at a four way stop.

:lmfao: brat. Similar traffic jams here too.

On another note: I had a store in NYC on 37th street (If I remember correctly). It was a great OLD retail space with tongue and groove wooden floors. Complete with asbestos insulation in the basement. LOL. We had an armed guard until we caught him stealing.  :suicide:

Anyhow, if I was younger I would have loved to have lived in NYC for a year (365 days) but not a day longer.  ;) There is a shit-ton to see and experience there. Now that I am a bit (Only a bit) older I am happy splitting my time between RI and PA.

In PA, I am about 2 miles from the NY State line and ~45min from a city of 45K population. I have spoken to many NYers from here over the past 2-3 months and they too agree that SE NY (West Chester, NYC, Brooklyn, Queens, etc) are too liberal, socialist & communistic. They hate sending their tax dollars in that direction. They understand what Cruz was saying and agree.

Now lets watch Trump make a mountain out of a mole hill. He is an expert at it. :troutSlap:
