Wow.....My initial thought goes straight to the fact that he's contacting the Feds while he's in prison on child molestation charges. He was most likely trying to think up a bargaining chip to use for a plea deal. Not for me to judge whether or not he's been totally truthful. He could've been the main one talking those old geezers into planning something in the first place.
My biggest problem here is the language used by the reporter a little over half way in when he mentions: online forums, people concerned about economic collapse, people worried about gun laws and politicians trying to take their guns, survivalist, etc. It may be subtle enough for some, but it's paint in big red letters for me. I think this goes back to the "Are modern militias useful" thread. The answer is yes. Yes, so they can be used as piss poor examples to make the rest of society think that we're all frickin' nuts (despite the fact we've done the research and can prove certain things they deny).
Yeah, god forbid anyone of us try and turn the average Americans head from the television for more than 5 seconds so they can see the oncoming train about to rip through households. That being said, don't think I'm sympathizing for those farts. If they really tried to pull what they were thinking and bought the stuff the Feds said...... well they are "survivalist." Cover them in meat sauce and drop them in the middle of the Yukon so their kind can take care of them.
