Can't remember if this has been discussed before or not. What began as a story in the alternate media is now being picked up elsewhere. Consider that we the people performed the greatest consumer-funded logistical feat in history in the months since Newtown (not including the months after Obama's first inauguration), I think we're even on the ammo count.

Well what was it I heard? They have enough rounds to shoot every American 7 times? What they really mean is it'll take'em at least 7 rounds to hit the broad side of a barn or an innocent bystander like those cops in NYC last year.

It's not so much the amount they bought, but what they bought that concerns me. They've purchased a wide variety of ammo including 7.62x54r. Now, I ain't screaming red dawn just yet. This is more an art of war scenario. Cut off your enemies supplies. Between that and the gun ban hype I think they're trying to trigger an event or stage one that pits the right wing, conservative, patriot, Christian class as the enemy. Order out of chaos right? Someday history will tell of a nation whose citizens were in an arms race with their own government. Who's the bad guy in that book will depend on who prevails.

What I understand, most of what was purchased though is "anti personnel" type ammunition.

Wouldn't it be cheaper just to buy surplus? Even in Panic v2.0, it's still reasonable when you can find it.
