Fence Going Up Around The Capital In Prep President Speech

I have never seen a fence being erected around the US Capital Building, just prior to the Presidents State of the Union Speech...Have you?

The president will be delivering his annual State of the Union speech on Thursday evening, ahead of which a large metal fence has been erected around the Capitol building. The fence being set up comes as many Republicans have criticized the Biden administration for not securing the border between the United States and Mexico, which could potentially be a big topic for voters going into the November elections. - Washington Examiner

The fence had to be approved by the Speaker of the House, Johnson as he is the head of the Capitol Police. . Something is not right.

Its all a head game to get people used to that type of security, just like they are doing in the NYC subways now with the military as security.

They get The People used to seeing it "to protect them" and the military used to going out to "protect" the public and then one day everyone is considered an threat and both the military and the public are so used to seeing and doing that stuff so they dont pay any attention...

Fence was to keep the "Cease Fire Now" crowd in the street outside from trying to get inside.

I am quite confident the security around the building had a few extra guns and bodies than any normal day.  Or normal SOTU address.

Yeah, the fence I learned this morning was erected against Palestine protesters. Also I learned this morning, that Biden was 10-minutes late to the SOTU speech because The Beast and the motorcade was stopped on route to the Capital by Palestine protesters. This kind of thing NEVER happens.

Awww, I am not a fane of our President. With that written, I do not want to see him harmed or killed either. Someone in his Secret Service detail needs to be on the red carpet this morning.

I had not heard that.  Info I found basically stated they took a longer route to avoid that crowd and possibility.
