FBI agent Peter Strzok Testimony
« on: July 13, 2018, 09:20:45 AM »
I had a LONG drive yesterday so I got a lot of time to listen to Agent Strzok's public hearing before two joint House of Representative committees. Probably 6-hours on the radio and another 1-hour on the idiot box. My observations...

1) Whether it can be proved or not, Agent Strzok did have bias in his heart. If he was an honorable
man, he would have recused himself in 2016, first with the Mrs. Clinton case and then with Mr.
     Trump's Russian collusion case.
2) During the hearing's he hid behind supposedly 'FBI RULES' of nondisclosure with a rather smug
    look on his face.
3) If stares could kill, Strzok would have killed Rep. Gowdy, Rep, Jordan, and Rep. Gohmert.
4) After about three hours the Republicans just kept beating a dead horse.  :deadHorse: The only
reason I hung in there was for when Rep.'s gave back their time to Gowdy, Jordan, or Gohmert.
5) Based on the Republicans questioning, the Democrats comments and obstructing of the GOP,
we are truly a divided country. I do not understand why the Democrats were sticking up for a
    liar, cheat, and unscrupulous man.

In closing, now that the Republicans have taken their pound of flesh, I pray that they move on and focus on more important issues like, funding and then building the wall on our southern border, strengthening our immigration laws, CCW reciprocity, and a host of other issues.

Because if Strzok is shown to have bias it kills the Mueller investigation and the Dims won't be able to impeach Trump it they take the house.
I don't think the horse was dead, you keep asking the same questions, but in a different way to get a different answer which can be used against him.
The problem I saw was they didn't ask who in the FBI told him not to answer certain questions.
I don't think they should move on until those who broke the law are convicted and sent to jail. If the investigation stops now the dirty tricks will continue, the FBI and the DOJ must be cleaned out of hyper partizans.

JoJo,
as I listede to 7+ hrs. of this, Gowdy did ask him who told him to keep his mouthy shut and he leaned back to ask his FBI lawyer, then leaned to the microphone and said "Director Wray and my Agencies Lawyer"

I don't know if the American Citizenry is aware of the Senior Executive Service, put into effect by President Carter in 1979. Here is a brief outline of the SES.

"The Senior Executive Service (SES) is a position classification in the civil service of the United States federal government, somewhat analogous to general officer or flag officer ranks in the U.S. Armed Forces. It was created in 1979 when the Civil Service Reform Act of 1978 went into effect under President Jimmy Carter."

In essence, if you are part of the SES, you are above the law of the land and receive special privileges.

It is believed that Agent Peter Strzok is part of the SES hence his smug, 'you can't do nothing to me' attitude at the hearing's yesterday.

Be educated on what is happening in DC.

I listened to most of it but I missed that. Had chores to do.
If there is an SES where some are above the law it must be eliminated. NO ONE is above the law.

Strzok cheated on his wife, the other woman is also in the fbi. ALL federal agencies forbid cheating on their spouses for the simple reason that a foreign agent could use that info as blackmail to gain secret info. They can be tried and and or fired just for that.

Their words are treasonous and with enough digging we will find actions to support their words

But mark my words, no one will be held accountable, this is nothing more than a dog and pony show

Strzok needs to experience the pleasure of waterboarding, and DC needs some serious housecleaning.  I agree with Jojo, that no one is above the law.  Trump needs to get an Attorney General that is not involved with the DC swamp.  Hillary, Obama and the rest of the DC elite should be behind bars or hanging from the gallows.

I watched some of this after the fact.

I fear that to many in the populace do not take serious any of these issues.

I hate to continue to be the pessimist here. I still believe that this all will lead to nothing in terms of action.

The sheep in our society only want to hear what they want to hear.

They want to hear and claim that Russia stole the election from Hillary. I would point out that almost every country in this world has always and will always. Attempt to interfere in other countries affairs in their self interest. Why are people so wrapped up about this? Because there are a lot of people that cannot stomach losing. No such thing as graceful losers any more.

I worry that sheep in our society that are so easily led. I must point out that this includes Liberal, Moderate and Conservative people. I worry that with the populace being so easy to manipulate these days. We are heading towards a self made collapse.

Heck I worry enough about non-preventable SHTF scenarios. I hate it that I also have to worry about the idiots in society that cannot think for themselves and make informed judgements on issues creating the conditions conducive to a collapse in our society.

Well There it is. Not much I can do about it. Other than do what we are all here to do.

Prep

Plan for the worst and hope for the best.

Cheers all

I must add one more note to this subject.

I believe that during this hearing there was way to much posturing. This prevented more important questions from being asked.

I will point to one that I wish to have an answer to.

It is clear that Agent Strzok demonstrated poor professional judgement by having an affair with a colleague working the same investigations. Poor professional judgement by using official FBI devices to exchange personal viewpoints as opposed to only work related communications. So with these examples being clear. Where else has Agent Strzok made poor professional judgements? This is the question that needs to be answered. Even worse is that the superiors of Agent Strzok need to answer why someone with such unprofessional standards has gained such a high position in the FBI and still remains employed in a trusted public position.

All the guy needed to do was walk into the hearing and say a few simple things. Yet the most important is "I apologize".

Ok done for the moment......

That's the whole problem, but Trump is teaching the Republicans to fight back and attack which they have never done before. The one thing that screws up the whole mess is there still are timid Republicans who won't fight back and the one's who are bought and paid for.

I dont think Trump is worried about teaching anyone anything as much as he is worried about doing what id right for the Country. The establishment know all they need to do is put on a little show make it through the next election cycle or two until the next establishment type (pence) gets elected POTUS

Hmmmmm.... I don't think he is answering questions because he said he was anti-Trump. He is answering questions because he was saying that he and she had to put a stop to Trump becoming POTUS. What the Congress wants to know is what actions he took or proposed to take in order to achieve stopping Trump. Having worked for the Government, I know that all Government employees are expected to vote in elections and are allowed to discuss their preferences but are prohibited from actively participating or assisting candidates.

In my career in the Army I took the view that some of my peers held.

We were instruments of public policy.

While we held personal political views and yes voted. There was a firm line between those personal views and our professional existence.

So from my viewpoint I gave little sympathy for this agent. He allowed his personal views to seep into his professional role. While it has yet to be conclusively proven that he acted on those views. It has been proven that he used his official communications devices and accounts to communicate those personal views.

That is the sin he needs to face punishment for. He was wrong to do so. Case is clear.

Now since there is a clear case of professional misconduct in that instance. Then it is completely reasonable to investigate him for any other wrongdoing. There is clear probable cause to justify peeling the onion all the way to the core to determine if this conduct continued into even more critical aspects of his position.

Though being the hard line pessimist I am at the moment. I suspect that this will once again be swept under the carpet of our out of control political environment.

Cheers
