Articles of Impeachment: Attorney General Eric Holder
« on: November 14, 2013, 08:38:11 AM »
It looks like the US House of Representatives are going to file Articles of impeachment for US Attorney General Eric Holder.

And so it starts. Stay tuned...

Quote
Article I of the impeachment proceedings claims that Holder “engaged in a pattern of conduct incompatible with the trust and confidence placed in him” by refusing to comply with a subpoena issued by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee for documents related to “a legitimate congressional investigation into Operation Fast and Furious by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms that put thousands of illegally-purchased weapons into the hands of cartel leaders, ultimately resulting in the death of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry on December 14, 2010.”
Article II of the proceedings charges that Holder violated his oath of office by refusing to enforce certain laws that the Obama administration, for various reasons, decided not to enforce, including the Defense of Marriage Act, which the administration deemed unconstitutional.
Article III also charges that Holder violated his oath of office, this time by “refusing to prosecute individuals involved in the Internal Revenue Service scandal of unauthorized disclosure of tax records belonging to political donors.”
Finally, Article IV claims Holder “provided false testimony to the House Judiciary Committee” regarding the potential prosecution of a member of the news media, Fox News correspondent James Rosen, using the Espionage Act.

Hopefully something in his trial could be used against Obama.

I am beginning to think that Presidents Obama's administration is starting to topple.

1) Government shut-down along with the tricks used with closing parks and such,
2) ACA (Affordable Care Act) dismal internet roll-out
3) 5M people as of yesterday has had their current insurance dropped
4) President Obama caught 26 times in a lie concerning grandfathering of insurance
5) The next group of insured that will be dropped are people with company insurance in 2015.
Remember, companies were given only a one year extension.
6) Now the Eric Holder impeachment.

What will the President do as he gets father and father into that corner.

Stay tuned...

I'd rather see the House take up the Farm bill, and any other legislation to help move the economy and jobs forward, than partisan political witch hunts. Just more time-wasting, political tit-for-tat, instead of actually doing the job We The People pay them to do.

I agree with the importance of economy-stimulating legislation, but eliminating dangerous government employees is necessary, too. Well, it is if done in an expedient and proper manner.

So when are they all going to impeach themselves?

Well, if we're going down that road, if they are behaving unconstitutionally and thus have no lawful authority, why do you obey laws they pass in legislation?

Sorry gents we are getting off on a different subject line here.

My original question was: With all the things that are happening in relation to the Presidents Administration, what will he do?

I remember that President Nixon became a recluse. Will our current President become a recluse? Have oodles of press conferences to try and talk his way out of the corner he has found himself in? Distract you and I with a black flag event, war, other tragedy?

The columns of President Obama's administration are starting to crumble. What will he do?

Don't see this administration crumbling anymore than the previous one. Name one President who didn't have problems, especially in the second term of their administration, even the one-term 'ers. Which is why they become one-term-ers in the first place.

Adams, Johnson, Roosevelt (Teddy), Wilson, Johnson, Nixon, Carter come to mind. They all tried to reigned as dictators, incompetence boobs or as despots.

Our President; Mr. Obama, trumps them all. Maybe it's due to the 24/7 media coverage.

With that said, comparing President Obama to Presidents before him is a poor argument as we live in the now and should not compare him to past Presidents. Today we have 24/7 media coverage. Even as long ago as Clinton we did not.

President Obama and his administration is corrupt. Lets focus on the now and what our President has done since he has been in office or his minions have done - The list is endless:

> Benghazi
> Fast & Furious
> IRS/Tea Party scandal
> The affordable Care Act
> NSA Expansion from the Bush White house

To name a few.

Again, we are steering from my original question: What is President Obama or his administration going to do now? November 2013...
