Economic war and what it means for you.

Without declaring an actual "war" a nation can wage economic war through sanctions, embargo's and blockades this is not meant to harm that nations government directly but instead it's citizens and economy. This can lead to civil unrest reduced living standards and all sorts of nasty side effects. these things are considered "the road to war" and are intended to goad the other nation's government to make a move that would grant the acting nation an advantage it did not have prior.

This type of behavior leads to a decline in the economy of all nations affected because benefit is measured in large vs small net loss instead of gain. This will aso affect currency stability between the US and Russia, because gentlemen have no mistake this is a currency war. The us currency/credit block with it's EU proxy are wrestling for control of the Ukrainian region.

Businesses/firms/corporations directly affected by the "war" sanctions. These are the big ones, there are of course more.
- Izsmash                 - Small Arms   - RU
- Visa                        - Credit          - Global  - No more direct transfer between economic blocks
- Mastercard             - Credit          - Global  - No more direct transfer between economic blocks
- Rosneft                   - Oil               - RU
- Novatek                  - Natural gas - RU
- Gazprom                 - Natural gas - RU       - Supplies about 1/3 or Europe's gas.
- Gazprombank         - Credit          - RU       - State owned bank
- BP                           - Oil               - US/EU
- Vnesheconombank - Credit          - RU       - State owned bank
- Morgan Stanley      - Invest          - US/EU - Financed Exxon in Russia
- Exxon Mobil            - Oil                - US/EU - Oil exploration in russia

What are "Externalities"? The term when used in an economic discussion generally references to the negative costs incurred on 3rd parties. Such as the natural gas issue in Europe with the sanction on Gasprom. The demand for natural gas just skyrocketed which increased prices this is good for local producers such as Shell but ultimately it results in a loss for the consumers, individual and business. People spend less on American movies. Absolute vodka is likely distilled by use of gas and has to increase it's expenditures and so product price increases. this is ofcource just a small chain of event and they are likely countless others effected by this.

Things are heating up.

> Israel just launched a combined air, sea land attack on the Gaza strip, and
> Russia militia in the Ukraine just shot down a Malaysian Civilian airplane.

I would think that economic war might be the precursor to real bullets and such being exchanged.
