Special operators decry leaks but criticize fellow operators slamming the commander in chief

WASHINGTON ? A group of retired special operations and CIA officers who claim President Barack Obama revealed secret missions and turned the killing of Osama bin Laden into a campaign centerpiece are coming under criticism from some of their own.

Some special operations officers say the activist veterans are breaking a sacred military creed: respect for the commander in chief.

?This is an unprofessional, shameful action on the part of the operators that appear in the video, period,? U.S. Army Special Forces Maj. Fernando Lujan wrote on his Facebook page, to a chorus of approval from colleagues.

On a slightly hypocritical point, isn't Maj. Lujan doing what he says he and other SFO shouldn't be doing?

?in violation of everything we?ve been taught, and the opposite of what we should be doing, which is being quiet professionals.?

If he would have said, "No comment."  That would probably have been more of a silent professional, than publicly scolding SFO.

honestly EJR, I'm surprised at your stance on this. on one hand, your criticism is logical and reasonable, but on the other hand, it's almost as if you don't think they should speak out. IMHO there's a difference between someone in the military (regardless what branch or status) speaking out against BS Washington goings-on, and the "leader of the free world" intentionally leaking intel for the sake of winning re-election and/or other nefarious reasons. I applaud these SF guys for signing their own death certificates. (no, for once I'm actually NOT being sarcastic) they are upholding their sworn oath, and I'd bet my last penny that every last one of them is fully aware that their next helo may very well encounter "engine malfunctions".
