Title: Did AB144 Pass?

Bill's status is on the left side of this webpage. As of right now, it says that the Secretary of State has it. I don't know what California's legislative system is like, but I'm guessing it passed both the House and Senate?

Yeah, that bill passed (shocking, right?). As of January 1st of next year the open carry of unloaded handguns is a crime. A bunch of dudes are going to start open carrying unloaded rifles and shotguns, though, since those aren't covered in the bill. I hate California and I hope to leave this hellhole as soon as I possibly can.
