but the fact that CNN said he was in dead last the other night has me shaking my head. but i know they just want there sheep viewers to not give him any attention.

as you guys know also, EVERYONE on news sites and youtube vids talks about him...i just hope ALL of those people who preach Paul actually vote..

I have a buddy who hates Ron Paul to pieces and I was talking to him on the phone last night and asked him if he saw this new poll and I told him it was Cain-20 Paul-19 and he told me I was full of shit and making things up.. LOL. he said he saw the same Bloomberg poll and Paul was listed in single-digits.... dude these motherfuckers are seriously playing with the numbers...  [img]http://www.arrse.co.uk/at

not surprised myself since its the only way they can win.  I will honestly be surprised if we even HAVE an election next year...

oh dude I'll be the first one to admit that I'm a freakin zombie for Ron Paul... lol. I'll admit I may be a bit closed minded but not to the extent where I completely shut off all opposing views. as a matter of fact, I won't mention the specific topic because I don't want to cause the thread to completely derail, but TG effectively changed my mind on a big issue not too long ago. see? I'm not COMPLETELY closed-off...  ^-^

Ok, you're not closed minded.  LOL! (Wonders what the hell that could have been about.)

Actually, as we discussed in PM there are things about Dr. Paul that I like.  And other things I simply disagree with him on.  In all of the years I've been voting I've yet to find a perfect candidate.  However, if you can get him to the position of Republican nominee I'll damn sure vote for him over Obama.

I just had a thought about what if Paul loses the Republican primaries.  I wonder if he would run an independent campaign this time.  Seeing as Trump's maneuvering to position himself as an independent candidate that would set up quite a fight.

Paul consistently asserts that he has no intention of running 3rd party if he doesn't get the GOP nomination. if he does, it will be a shoe-in for Obama.

Short and simple even though I would go vote for him in the middle of a hurricane, the media, the fed reserve, the rnc, and the dnc will not let Paul get the nomination. They have too much to lose. I expect the electronic voting machines in Iowa have already been programed (hacked).

I agree 100%, however, that won't stop me from voting anyway. I want to be able to say that I at least retained a little integrity this one last time. after this, I may lose all faith in our voting system.
