I wonder if all that time spent at Ft. Devens was wasted.   :boltAction:

The technology is very cool.

Quite a long way from the Brown Bess.  :coffeeNews:

We are living in an exciting time. While it took the world to move from an agriculture society to a industrial society seventy years or so; the second industrial revolution only took 30 years (1840-70).

Similarly as we move from a manufacturing/industrial society to a electronic/internet society; things are being developed at a rapid and more rapid speed. Case in point: How have cell phones developed in the past 15 years? Five years? Three D, printers. Medicine. Cable vs. live streaming. The list goes on and on.
