Funny, I wrote my senator about another young man by the name of Chris Jeon who has been pulling the same sort of stunt. This kid, I believe early 20's, was making $9k a month at his intern job for a firm in California and decided that life was to mundane. The conversation went to the tune of "so what?" I asked how the kid could possibly be traveling back and forth to America from the Middle East, help known terrorist groups, killed soldiers by his own admission, seek explosive and not be on any terror watch list. As I was told "it's his freedom." Apparently the growing number of free radicals is either finally getting attention or there's more to the story they're not talking about.
