Chile volcano

The Calbuco volcano in southern Chile is erupting. Will that affect you APX ????

Nop, I'm far away from it, I'm closer to the Atlantic, so no problems around here.

Anyway, and this is interesting...
Last year another volcano erupted on Chile and the ashes reached my home that is 1600km away, I remember it was summer and I had my windows open for the air to freshen the house, and all my house ended up covered in dust/ashes.

Great picture APX!

I was living in Bellevue, WA. (Suburb of Seattle) when Mount St. Helens erupted in 1980. Went out to go to work and my car was covered with ash and there was a a nice dusting on the ground.

Turned on the windshield wipers to clear it away which was a big mistake. The action of the windshield wipers and the makeup of the ash permanently scratched my windshield.   :facepalm:

That's a really cool pic. Rare to see one so ominously breathtaking with such color. Reminiscent of atomic photos in subject, except they were b/w.
