Everywhere I go I have a sidearm.  If I cannot take it somewhere, I do not go there.

As soon as I get home I will put an extra box or 3 of 9mm in the truck and my HP 995 and C9 along with the magazines that fit both.  Same caliber, same magazine for rifle and pistol.  Sounds like good idea to me.
