Census 'faked' 2012 Election Job Reports

The New York Post reported yesterday that the unemployment rate leading up to the 2012 Presidential election was falsified. 
 

In the home stretch of the 2012 presidential campaign, from August to September, the unemployment rate fell sharply — raising eyebrows from Wall Street to Washington.

The decline — from 8.1 percent in August to 7.8 percent in September — might not have been all it seemed. The numbers, according to a reliable source, were manipulated.

And the Census Bureau, which does the unemployment survey, knew it.

Quoting the New York Post is like using the National Enquirer as proof of bigfoot. Not saying politicians would never manipulate anything, ever, because it's part of the job. Just ask any President since Washington.

Wasn't the National Enquirer the first print paper to talk about "the Black Dress" in the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal?

Be careful with what you write as you are painting ALL Presidents since Washington with a broad brush as manipulators of statistics. For example: Do you have at your finger tips the statistic (s) President Zachary Taylor manipulate?

Speculation and or assumption is used often in lieu of facts to cloud an argument in a debate or discussion. Ridicule is used also. Not unlike when you compared the New York Post to the National Enquirer.

Keep in mind Saul Alinsky's book,Rules for Radicals. Alinsky's fifth rule is, "“Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” I remember that one of the countries most influential financial leaders at the time was heavily ridiculed by the main stream media for expressing his skepticism of the falling unemployment rate in the summer of 2012. Do you remember who?

Rep. Issa Gets Involved in Alleged Census Data Fabrication, Demands Documents: ‘These Allegations Are Shocking’

Looks like the US House of Representatives is going to investigate the New York Posts allegations.

House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) requested Tuesday that Census Bureau Director John Thompson respond to a recent report alleging data tampering at the Bureau.

“The U.S. Congress uses the (Current Population Survey) to make crucial policy decisions, and the private sector uses the CPS to make important business decisions,” Darrell said in a letter to Thompson, noting that the report that alleges data fabrication at the Bureau also claims the wrongdoing has been going on for years.

“These allegations are shocking,” the letter adds. “The implications of an unreliable unemployment figure are serious and far-reaching. The national unemployment rate affects everything from legislation on Capitol Hill, to Federal Reserve policy, to stock prices on Wall Street.”

It's getting messy—even the MSM is turning on him. He's either going to lose ALL support and wither away as the worst president in US history, or rage out dictator-style as the worst president in US history.

I pray it's not the second option.

A better option would be that he works with Congress to:

> Balance the budget
> To reduce our national debt over the next 5-10 years
> Pulls our troops out of Afghanistan and other middle eastern countries
> Encourages laws to be passed to reduce the scope of the Patriot and other similar Acts
> Establish a flat rate tax for citizens and companies
> Open's up more area's for energy exploration

If he did half of these things he would go down as the top 10 U.S. Presidents - A President for the people.
