Barrett Firearms Sold
« on: January 23, 2023, 11:44:35 AM »
An Australian munitions company, NOIA Group, has purchased Barrett Firearms, currently located in Murfreesboro, TN.

Here's a press release: https://www.nioa.com.au/latest-news/nioa-acquires-us-manufacturer-barrett-firearms

My big question is how it's going to effect civilian sales for Barrett firearms.  As you probably know, Australia severely restricts firearms purchases and possession.  Hopefully, the new owners will stay focused on making money, though I wonder what percentage of sales are directly tied to civilian purchases.  I imagine the bulk of Barrett's sales were to military and government entities.  So, if you're in the market for a Barrett firearm, now might be a good time to make that purchase. :gunner:
