Breaking News - Union Pacific Railroad Labor Says No To Vaxx Mandate

It took me awhile but I was able to locate a letter from the, ALLIED FEDERATION UNIFIED SYSTEM DIVISION
BROTHERHOOD OF MAINTENANCE OF WAY EMPLOYES DIVISION INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF TEAMSTERS, over at JeffreyPrather.com.

The letter is addressed to Lance Fritz Chairman President & CEO, Union Pacific Railroad, 1400 Douglas Street STOP 19 Omaha, NE 68179. It starts out,

Dear Sir,
I am writing concerning one of the most complicated and polarizing issues in our country today. This issue
transcends to railroad employees, including the many essential BMWED Members represented by the
Allied Federation, and USD Federation. This is the issue of the COVID-19 Vaccination Mandates.

Some of the nation?s railroads have withheld from enforcing the mandated vaccinations where others
have not. We appreciate those railroads who have supported each employee?s individual rights and we
will support you in all efforts to stop such vaccine mandates.

The railroads that are actively enforcing COVID -19 Vaccine mandates will be opposed. All necessary action
will be taken to prevent such Vaccine Mandates and carriers that elect to impose such mandate on
BMWED represented employees will be held accountable for any adversities that could result from such
action.

We support those BMWED Members who willfully choose to receive the COVID-19 Vaccination. We also
support those members who have chosen not to receive the COVID 19 Vaccination. Our members have
performed services that were essential to both the government infrastructure and commerce from the
onset of the pandemic. These are the essential working class that kept your infrastructure safe and in service. Their essential services were performed throughout the pandemic while both non-essential
management and union leaders restricted our travel, worked from home and other safe and controlled
environments.

That's good to read. They could shut the country down in a couple days. And although it was still listed as an MOS when I was in, I don't think the military has many railroad engineers these days. So probably no Guard troops to fill in. They'd only get a couple days max before a judge ordered them back, but I could see a standoff for sure. If a few more big unions join in, we could reverse this mandate boondoggle overnight.

Chicago FOP not playing along either, their president told the members not to comply with the city's deadline.

Next week, half of the firefighters in LA are facing a deadline too. The city thinks they'll all fold, but hundreds have said they'll take the firing and sue.

And the legal precedent is already out, preventing employers from placing unvaxed employees on "unpaid leave" to prevent them from seeking UI benefits.

I think the govt wants the railroad system to go down and create more chaos, more fighting among the citizens and sink us to an even lower level. This will give them the opportunity to take more control over everything while pitting us against each other

Add to your list FF, SW Pilots (not the union mind you) doing rolling sick outs. Gov. Abbot did a EO to back SW Air with no mandatory mandates in Texas. I think DeSantis in FL. did likewise.

Seattle PD to loose about 40% of their ranks to the mandate too. Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, a Catholic hospital, is suing the state under religious freedom cause. Apparently, it is coming out that and being verified that one of the vaccines (I forget which one) are using aborted baby fetuses cells to duplicate part of their vaccine.

Anyway, the Union Pacific letter really caught my eye as they are the big mover of goods from and to the west coast. Farm goods like pigs, wheat, barley, etc are shipped via railroads to the west coast to be sent to China.

At a 10,000-foot level, we are moving towards chaotic times by mid-winter with many infrastructures breaking down in the big cities? reduced firemen, reduced law & order folks, food shortages, fuel shortages, petrol shortages, etc. Enough for the citizenry to scream, "make it stop!"

Then Uncle Joe's puppeteers, fundamentally change America?

    There's nothing like a little push back to make life interesting.  Once the medical folks walk out en masse, it'll cause a domino effect.  I wonder what's happening at the larger trucking companies.  There wasn't much feed left at the local Rural King last evening.  The populace is getting fed up.  "Let's go Brandon!"

Delta announced this morning that any religious exemption was acceptable.

By the way, that PDF I posted was not on the interwiz. I copied and pasted it from Prather's site. Why could I not find it on the interwiz? (Rhetorical question with preadjust).
