Blast rocks Iranian arms depot
« on: November 12, 2011, 06:24:14 PM »
There has been a major explosion at a munitions depot in a military base 20 kilometres west of the Iranian capital Tehran.

It is understood the arsenal belongs to the elite Revolutionary Guards.

Ambulances and rescue teams with sniffer dogs have been sent to the scene but casualty figures have not been released.

The midday blast was so powerful it shook windows and doors in the city.

Coincidence???  I think not.

This make me wonder if any other Iranian weapons depots had issues today.  They would be a 1rst tier target prior to a land invasion.  I find it hard to believe an attack on Iran's nuke facilities would start with a ground invasion so I'm assuming they accidently did this one to themselves.  If in fact it was a weapons depot.
