Its been proven time and time again that citizens out carrying for self-defense are better shots than LEO. They shoot less shots to get the job done, and they also hit bystanders less. Maybe its because they know they do not have immunity if they screw up or do something wrong and an attorney is attached to every round that they send downrange. Many times I find that the citizens that carry for self-defense usually train a whole lot more often than some LEOs, who some of them only shoot once or twice a year when they have their qualifying. I do know quite a few LEO that shoot all the time, some even train, but there is also a difference between just shooting your firearm, and actually training. I know quite a few of the citizens that carry for self-defense actually train when they go out shooting, compared to guys that just go out to shoot all the time. I think that if you're going to carry for self-defense all the time, you need to train, train, train and then train some more. If someone doesn't train at all, it does make me a little nervous that they are out there carrying a firearm around all the time.
