Arms export ban lifted by Japan
« on: December 27, 2011, 01:16:07 PM »

Quote
Japan has lifted its self-imposed ban on exporting arms. The decision, announced by Chief Cabinet Secretary Osamu Fujimura comes amid growing concern on rising costs and public debt.

A landmark agreement with China to promote direct exchange of their currencies is also set to ease debt worries. Currently businesses in both countries need to buy US dollars before converting them into the desired currency thus adding extra costs.

The move is a blow to the dollar but Tokyo and Beijing agree it will help promote economic growth in the region.

I wonder who will be buying up those guns eh?

No offense, but are you guys really THAT dense or did you not watch/listen at all to the video.  Let me break it down for you:

They lift an export ban on weapons WHILE spitting on the dollar and making A DEAL WITH CHINA SIMILAR TO THE ONE CHINA MADE WITH RUSSIA.  They will now deal with each other in their own currencies further declining the dollar.

As to who would get the weapons, probably more likely military hardware and tech not small arms, it states that CHINA is Japan's biggest trading partner.

Seems to me like what this video says is that Asia is "circling the wagons".

Well I guess that's what I get for not watching the video...lol.

China already has some impressive military technology. Add to it what they can get from Japan (which a lot of is American tech), and I'm not sure I like the outcome. Maybe it's just me being overly suspicious of China, I don't know.

One by one the developed countries and even some of the underdeveloped countries are coming off of the dollar.  You really can't blame them.  If I was one of them and looking at the U.S. debt monster the Government has created.  The way the Fed Reserve has been loaning trillions upon trillions interest free to their buddies here and in Europe. And the way dollars are coming off the printing presses with nothing to back them up but a smile.  I'd be looking to get out of the dollar too.

It all adds up to things continuing to get more expensive here until everything will be unaffordable to the impoverished, unemployed masses.

Not to mention this is stroke of good luck for China.  Now in addition to stealing technology they'll be able to buy it.

2012 just keeps looking better and better.

Exactly what I was thinking.
