Looks like another shooting, this time in Allen, Texas. There are fatalities, with nine folks going to local trauma centers. Shooter taken out by first responders.

So far 8 fatalities, 7 wounded.

Reported about 30 rounds fired, 60 round on the ground.

Shooter pulled up near a main door near the building, put it in park, got out and started shooting.   This seems to be more of a shopping center type facility rather than a mall type.

I am sorry however, nobody promised me security when I go out in public. I will not allow a bureaucrat to make a decision on whether I may purchase a firearm or not. End of story.

That retired sheriff is full of shit.

Now with that all said, let's wait till the dust settles and we figure out motive and how he attained his firearm.

Shooter identified as Mauricio Garcia.  New reports stated he had armed upper level security officer licensing and training which expired a year or 2 back.

What I want to know is........ Have all these mass shooters had the COVID VACCINE? We didn't have this kind of crap going on before the MAN MADE VIRUS came along. These shooters are not all Right wingers or all Left wingers. Somewhere out there, there is a common denominator. :hiding:

Don't know about the here legally part, but he spent 3 months in the army, never assigned a MOS, discharged for mental health issues.

The officer was a sheepdog who reacted - it's a special breed.
On another level, more immediate to me/us(?)... is the reminder that occasional gun handling/"target practice" would be advised to do some "shoot and move" exercises too, the "bench" being wholly inadequate if the sole practice.

Also a reminder that you need to be able to run a couple miles in all your gear, otherwise dig yourself a foxhole. I realize that it's probably hard for this officer to run with those huge testicles he's carrying. Saw the footage on Donut Operator's raw footage channel last night. He went from talking to kids about being good and listening to their mom to hunting a scumbag in 2 seconds. He maintained comms and let everyone know where he was and what he was seeing and hearing.
