There was some bizarre behavior going on at that school.  But it wasn't Nicholas, the 10 year old, committing it.  If I was his parent I would be pulling him out of that school because it's being run by people of questionable intelligence.  I wonder what is happening in Tenn. that they are hiring progressives like this in their schools.  Same as in other areas of the country I guess, someone's not paying attention.

The only good I can see occurring from a mad max type of collapse would be that those asshats would die off first.  Unless of course one of you guys or someone like you decides to save one or two of them.  One of my three daughters is a progressive like that. God help me I'm gonna have to save her.

I got the impression James Evans the spokesperson for the Rutherford County School District knew that the principal had gone overboard when he said, "I realize some might say we are going overboard but the principal is just trying to use an abundance of caution and send the message that we don't play about guns and it's not something we joke around about,"

I sounded like he was covering for the principal's lunacy.

i used to play army at school and even bring in toy guns and GI Joes, wear full blown cammies (i did get introuble because you not supposed to bring toys to school) hell when i went there the mascot (minuteman) had a musket, now it has a pencil....im gona show this article to my grandma shes gona shit a brick...

I remember the day Columbine happened.  Me and a buddy used to wear BDUs all the time, being enthusiastic about the military and all.  The day it happened I chose to wear something different and the other guy wore his BDUs.  When the news got around with the details about it and how the kids that pulled it off were supposedly wearing BDUs they pulled him into the office and grilled his ass about why he was wearing them.

Sadly Chesty you are correct. Personnaly I blame the parents not the schools. If parents were more involved in the education of their children rather then treating schools as baby sitters this "pussification" would not be happening.

I look around and it is amazing how many folks are sending their kids to private or charter schools. Many are home schooling their kids too.
