I'm sure most of you saw that the U.K. signed mutual defense treaties with Sweden and Finland today. This is seen as an interim step before NATO admission for both countries, but as Boris Johnson said, it was done to provide a deterrent to Russia (unlike 1939). Should Russia invade Finland and Britain is called to honor the treaty, Britain could then invoke article 5 and involve all of NATO.
Diplomacy at its finest.
Considering Putin's comments regarding Finland joining an alliance, this could be one step closer to WW3.
Personally, I don't think Putin can realistically order an invasion of Finland while the Russian army is bogged down in the Ukraine, but then again- it is Putin.
What do you guys think?

Two-front wars have proven bad in the past, I doubt Putin would be interested at this time in bucking historic examples. Especially IF reports are true where his losses and ground-force military are concerned.
No need for nukes - why burn/flatten//irradiate prime real-estate, destroy assets and maybe even put the climate into a true "anthropogenic" tailspin.
All the people in charge have to do is keep on doing what they are doing.
Trade/currency collapse.
Food production/distribution curtailed.
Ethnic/cultural divisions expressed with bloodshed.
mRNA warfare sold as medical protection.
... see? who needs to split atoms over someone's head?

Perhaps, someone (mortal or immortal) will kill Putin and perhaps, the replacement might be sane and practical. Perhaps "Brandon" will become a reasonable American President... :trolling: OK - that's a stretch.

Keep in mind that no matter how sinister we think Putin is, there is actually more sinister folks just waiting to jump in lead by Aleksandr Gelyevich Dugin (https://www.thejc.com/lets-talk/all/aleksandr-dugin-the-sinister-ideologue-whos-putins-favourite-philosopher-3829SiTsfS8P7UK19PwT4k).
