Brown signs Dream Act
« on: October 08, 2011, 10:06:37 PM »
Well, Crapifornia just sold taxpayers down the river yet again.....

Bear in mind that this isn't the Fed's version of the Dream Act that grants amnesty, it gives them the opportunity to get "higher education" on our dime.  (not that either version is OK)

If anyone reading this has the chance to rebuild a society one day, take note that this is exactly what NOT to do.

DOnt feel bad the gov of RI repealed all the illegal migrant laws that States like AZ based theirs off of. We have now become a sactuary state because Lincoln Chaffee wanted the Latino vote. Now Illeagals can get welfare and pay instate tuition fees at out schools. but our own public schools and speacial needs community took a 20% cut to their budgets to pay for it. RI is on the march to scosialism my freinds. So Ill see you in the bread line Kentactic.

This sounds rough to you CA. folks however....Nobody is forcing you to stay there. Vote with your feet and leave that hell hole! You are not going to win when the state is made up of so many liberals and illegals. How many companies have moved from CA. to AZ, TX and FL of late. Do the research and follow the money.

I respect your comments Kentactic and yes it would not be easy.

My wife and I moved from Philly to Seattle in 1980 with no job or prospects. I moved from Seattle to LA with a job offer but it didn't pay more then what I was making in Seattle in 1987. In retrospect, both moves were the best thing that ever happened to us. The friends and connections I made are irreplaceable.

I was just offered a six figure job in S.Cal by Dicks Sporting Goods and I turned it down. My wife and I have lived there and would not live in the hell-hole called California for any amount of money again- Their loss.  :))

Now we all have reasons for not moving on: Kids, family, obligations HOWEVER if you have no major anchors holding you back start looking for jobs where the unemployment rate is below 6% and move on! Fuck California.

I moved from NY after being spending the first 20 years of my life there.  I hate that place so much that I refuse to talk about it.

Only thing that I miss is a restaurant or two that's probably not even there anymore.

Veritas,
those restaurants don't exist as Bloomberg shut them down because they put salt on the table.  :))
