Funny thing about timing... I've been pawing through photos after photos of historic Disneyland on "Pinterest" for weeks before this post. A great sadness and nostalgia - I "grew up" in California and went to the original park at least three times, knew all of the original rides, saw replacements. I saw Mermaids underwater from a 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea submarine and spun in teacups, rode the tram through the Matterhorn and went on Jungle Cruises and Chicken-of-the-Sea Pirate Ships. And more, much more.
It was a wonderful time to be a child.
Now? For children? I fear "Not so much".
