I like how they kept true to the book (never read it myself but heard about it) in that you never truly know the "identity or origin" of the invaders. While its not a super realistic movie and there are definitely some face-palm worthy scenes, it's definitely worth watching. Way better than bat boy and dog boy lol.

It's got "too many long winded self discovery passages." Sort of an uncomfortable combination of bubble gum entertainment and violence. Imagine "Red Dawn" crossed with the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" series mentality.

I'd rather read metro 2033 a third time.

I liked it although the whole BS on the ethics of killing pissed me off, It's fucking war people get over it [img]http://www.arrse.co.uk/at . They're making a sequel so now that the stage was set in this one, I'm assuming there is gonna be a lot more ass kicking in the next one. I'm probably gonna check out the books.
