Shortwave radio stations
« on: October 11, 2012, 05:26:56 PM »
Hey Gang,

I just picked up a little shortwave radio receiver, anyone one know of any 'close' stations I could tune in to see if this damned thing works?

Tune in between 9 mHz and 10 mHz, should find something in the band to test it. What kind did you get?

A Grundig G3D, the price was too good to pass up.

I though I could use it to keep up to date with international news and so far no luck although I did tune in a Swedish Public Access station.

You will probably need a wire that runs from the antenna hookup and a ground to really make the Grudig to work at peak efficiency. Have fun!
